Privacy policy

We collect only what we need to follow up with you, send the newsletters you ask for and keep spam out. We never sell it.
Who we are
HALDAR & CO is the business name of HALDAR PLUS CO LLC, a Nevada limited liability company based in Las Vegas, Nevada. For any question or request, email neil@haldar.co.
What we collect
- Booking a call. When you choose a call length on haldar.co, we ask for your name and email and save them with the call length you picked. We then send you to our booking calendar and pass your name and email along in the link so you do not have to type them again. The calendar collects your booking details itself.
- Tap card and connect page (haldar.co/card). Your name and email, plus anything you choose to add: company, title, phone, the topics and timing you select, whether you want the newsletter, whether you asked for the contact card and whether you tapped the LinkedIn link. We also note the page language and, if we met at an event, the event name.
- Newsletter signup (haldar.co/insights). Your first name, your email and your confirmation that you want the newsletters.
- Spam prevention. With each form we store a one-way hash of your IP address and browser details, not the raw values, and run a Cloudflare Turnstile check.
- Link clicks. Some of our links (go.haldar.co) run through a link service that counts clicks and may record general details such as time, approximate location, device, browser and referring page.
How we use it
To follow up on your call or inquiry, to send the newsletters you asked for, to keep bots and spam out of our forms, and to see which links and pages are useful. We do not use it for advertising.
Services that process it for us
- Supabase hosts the database that stores form submissions and the code that receives them.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form is being filled in by a person.
- Brevo sends our newsletters and keeps subscriber details such as email, first name and when and where you signed up.
- TidyCal runs our booking calendar.
- Dub runs our go.haldar.co links. Booking links carry your name and email, so Dub and TidyCal receive them as part of the link.
- Google Fonts serves the fonts on our pages, so your browser contacts Google to load them.
- Spaceship hosts our website and may keep standard server logs.
Each of these services handles data under its own privacy policy.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. Even so, Nevada residents may send a request to opt out of the sale of their personal information to neil@haldar.co, and we will confirm it.
Emails and unsubscribing
You only get our newsletters if you sign up for them. Booking a call does not subscribe you. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as it is relevant to our relationship or your subscription. Ask us and we will delete it.
Your choices
Email neil@haldar.co to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. We may need to confirm the request is from you.
Cookies
Our site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The card page remembers your language choice in your browser. Cloudflare Turnstile, TidyCal and other services may use their own cookies or similar tools when they load.
Children
Our site and services are meant for professionals and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and hashing IP addresses. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date.
